Iran’s top Islamic unity body urges world Muslims to mark al-Quds Day
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a statement on threshold of the International Quds Day calling the world Muslims to commemorate the occasion in massive rallies.

The major Islamic unity body in Iran has urged the Muslims to reveal the grandeur of their solidarity on the International Quds Day rally, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The statement highlighted importance of Palestine in view of late Imam Khomeini (RA) and leader of Islamic Republic Ayatollah Khamenei.
Part of the message read,” The issue of Palestine as the fundamental concern for the world of Islam and that liberation of al-Quds will remain an objective for world Muslims.”
The statement hailed the achievements of resistance by Palestinian nation against the occupying Israeli regime and its allies.
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought referred to the Israeli nations protests across the occupied lands while the regional countries are increasingly settling their issues and boosting ties.
Part of the statement read,” The convergence of regional countries has led to a wave of despair and disillusionment for the American and European arrogant powers” and added,” Israeli regime finds no way but to beef up its pressure on the regional countries, particularly on Palestine; therefore, it is struggling to cover up its defeat and gradual collapse by expansion of the illegal settlements and also blind raids on the West Bank and al-Quds.”
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought reiterated unity and cooperation as the only solutions for the issue of Palestine.
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought vowed its support for the International Quds Day with the motto “Palestine, Axis of Muslim World Unity, al-Quds on verge of Liberation.”
The International Quds Day was named by the late founder of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khomeini (RA). The late leader called on the world Muslims to voice solidarity with the Palestinian nation and holy al-Aqsa Mosque on the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan.
