Adnan attended the court session via video conference, during which he lost consciousness several times due to his deteriorating health condition, according to the Palestinian Prisoners' Society (PPS).

The lawyer stressed that Adnan was unable to communicate with his family, who attended the court, and his wife also passed out several times before being transferred to a hospital in the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

Prisoner Adnan started his hunger strike on the first day of his detention, February 5.

Adnan, who is under security camera surveillance in the Ramla prison’s infirmary, refuses to take any kind of intravenous fluids or medication or even undergo medical tests.

His wife, Randa Musa, said, in previous statements, that there are fears that he would be forcibly fed by the Israeli Prison Service.

Adnan is on hunger strike for the fifth time in an Israeli prison, and has surpassed the duration of all of his previous strikes.

Adnan has been imprisoned at least 12 times since 2004. His last hunger strike has inspired a wave of Palestinian prisoners held in administrative detention to join him.
