Huj. Shahriari offers condolence over passing of Ayatollah Soleimani

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has expressed condolence over passing of Ayatollah Soleimani, member of the Assembly of Experts.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari expressed regret over demise of the senior scholar and hailed his services in arena of culture and promotion of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He also lauded the late scholar for his performance as a member of the supreme council at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and his services towards proximity of Islamic denominations.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari extended condolences to the Leader of the Islamic Republic, seminaries and religious jurists.
 
The cleric also expressed sympathy with the late scholar’s family and the people in Iran’s Mazandaran province.
 
Ayatollah Abbasali Soleimani, a member of the Assembly of Experts and also a former representative of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in the southeastern Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchistan, was assassinated in an armed attack in the city of Babolsar, Iran’s northern province of Mazandaran on Wednesday.
