The Hamas Movement has called the three fighters as “heroes” and mourned their martyrdom by Israeli occupation forces.
In a statement on Thursday, Hamas said that martyrs Hasan Qatnani, Muaad al-Masri and Ibrahim Jabr are the heroes who carried out about one month ago a shooting operation in the West Bank in response to the Israeli aggression against Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Movement said its fighters were martyred following armed clashes on Thursday morning with the Israeli occupation forces in al-Yasmina neighborhood in the Old City of Nablus.
It vowed to continue upholding the path of armed struggle and resistance to defend Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque and liberate the Palestinian land.
