Detained Palestinian MP transferred to hospital over heart attack symptoms

The detained Palestinian MP Ahmed Attoun has been transferred to hospital following health issues.

Media sources reported that MP Attoun was transferred to Shaare Zedek hospital after he suffered from symptoms similar to a heart attack.

The sources pointed out that Attoun will undergo cardiac catheterization on  Sunday.

The MP was detained by Israeli occupation forces on Thursday after his house in Bethlehem governorate was stormed.

Last November, Attoun was released from Israeli jail after he completed an 8-month administrative detention sentence. He was detained more than once and spent 16 years in Israeli prisons.
