“Anti-monotheism groups seek violence through new civilizational teachings”

Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance condemned the groups that pursue wedge into the global communities calling them as number one enemy of the monotheistic religions.

Mohammad Mahdi Esmaeili, in a meeting with Patriarch Mar Awa Royel, leader of the catholicos-patriarch of the Assyrian church of the east referred to history of coexistence among all religious groups in Iran and stressed that a major part of issues in the world can be eliminated through commonalities of the religions, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said the key message of the holy religions is prevalence of peace and coexistence for the world and added,” In contrast with this view, there are groups in constant pursuit of distancing the global communities. These are the common enemies of all religions.”
 
Mohammad Mahdi Esmaeili added,” Such groups will never allow the issues of man are settled through peaceful means and introduce the violence in their ideologies euphemized as “new civilizational teachings”.
 
Iranian top official stressed importance of interfaith dialogues and expressed hope that the new round of meetings between Muslim and Christian elites.
 
 
Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance made the remarks at the 4th scientific meeting with Assyrian Church of East held between a number of Muslim scholars and a delegation from the Assyrian church of the east.
