Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has visited the 34th Tehran International Book Fair on Sunday morning.

The Leader made the visit to the cultural event held in Tehran’s Imam Khomeini (RA) Grand Musalla following three years of COVID-related restrictions.
The Leader called for utmost effort to promote the quality and quantity of the publications for children and criticized the pervasiveness of foreign-language books.
The major international book fair in Iran was first held during the presidency of Ayatollah Khamenei back in 1997. The Leader has been a visitor to the most editions of the event ever since.
The 34th Tehran International Book Fair is underway in the Iranian capital under the motto “Future Is Readable”.
