Pres. Raisi highlights Ferdowsi essence of Iran's culture, civilization

In a message on the occasion of honoring Iran's well-known poet Abulqasem Ferdowsi, Iran's president considered this Persian-speaking poet to be a symbol of the wisdom of Iran and the essence of Iran's culture and civilization.

In this message, the President pointed out: "In this land, great men like Ferdowsi revived the Persian language and the history of Iran, and the people of Iran were able to continue their lives without any conflicts and contradictions in the mirror of Islamic knowledge. From this point of view, Ferdowsi, the symbol of the wisdom of this land, is not only a poet but also the one who should be considered as the essence of Iranian culture and civilization."

 
The commemoration ceremony of Hakim Abulqasem Ferdowsi was held on Sunday evening at Ferdowsi's tomb.
A group of guests and representatives of foreign consulates, poets and researchers studying the life of Ferdowsi were present in this ceremony.
Presentation of Ferdowsi's medal, different rituals, performance of the national anthem with the presence of 150 teenagers dressed in the clothes of different Iranian ethnic groups, and performance of traditional music by Hojat Ashrafzadeh were other programs on the day of commemoration of Ferdowsi in Tus.
