The meeting will be held at the OIC headquarter in Jeddah at the initiation of Jordan and Palestine to “discuss the continuous Israeli attacks on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque”, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The OIC Secretary-General, Hissein Brahim Taha, will address the participants on the dangerous developments at Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city of Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
Participants will also discuss the continued Israeli attacks on the occupied Palestinian territory.
The meeting is held in the wake of a controversial visit to the holy site by far-right Israeli minister Itmar Ben Gvir.
While visiting al-Aqsa Mosque, Ben Gvir, made a comment claiming Israeli sovereignty of the mosque to raise much anger from the Arab and Islamic countries.
