Imam Reza shrine to mark Karamat celebrations for foreign visitors
The Deputy Office for International Pilgrims at holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) has announced the programs for the ten days of Karamat which marks the birth anniversary of the eighth Shia Imam and Hazrat Masoumeh (AS).

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Zolfaghari announced the cultural programs for the Ten Days of Karamat to be held for the foreign tourists visiting the holy site in coming days.
Ten days of Karamat, is a period of time between the birth anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) on 21 May to Imam Reza’s birth anniversary on 31 May, the daughter and son of the seventh Shia Imam and grandchildren of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
Deputy Office for International Pilgrims Affairs has scheduled to welcome the non-Iranian pilgrims arriving to the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad during the time.
Among the programs is ceremony to unveil the book ‘In the presence of Imam Reza’ for non-Iranian Muslim children, published in four languages Persian, Arabic, Urdu, and Azeri.
Also, Iranian and foreign speakers will deliver speech on ‘Women Justice and Social Presence’ in an international congress during the Ten Days of Karamat.
“The ‘Ashra Al-Welayah’ art exhibition will also get underway in Dar al-Rahmah Portico and artists from Iraq, Lebanon, Bahrain and Iran will display their calligraphy, painting and graphics works for the public.
Another special program during this period is a coming-of-age ceremony for 150 young Muslim girls from 17 countries who have reached the age of religious responsibility.
Muslims from across the globe particularly arrive in Iran’s northeastern city of Mashhad and Qom holy where the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) and his sister, Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) are located during the Ten Days of Karamat.
