“Unity, new Islamic civilization, messages of Irans Revolution”, Ayat. A’rafi

Ayatollah Alireza A’rafi, in a meeting with Indian scholars, hailed the friendly ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and India and stressed the visit by the delegation of Deobandi scholars will boost the political, social and cultural relations between the two countries, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He called on the Indian government to cherish the Muslim community as an asset for the country and pay more attention to the demands of the religious minority group in a bid to boost solidarity among Indian people.

He said,” Muslims move in line with glory of their countries and the governments would benefit any support for the Muslims.”

Member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts said,” The Islamic proximity objective will realize when Muslims move in line with materializing the Islamic civilization.”

The cleric added,” Islamic Revolution in its address to more than one billion Muslims across 50 countries is that Muslims should stand in a higher position in a bid to materialize the great objective of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).”

Ayatollah A’rafi hailed the scientific cooperation between the Iranian and Indian scholars and expressed hope that further meetings would provide the ground for research and academic cooperation between Islamic centers across the world.

The delegation of Indian scholars also met with the different religious leaders and visited the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS), sister of the eighth Shia Imam and granddaughter of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), in the holy city of Qom.
