Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a message to congratulate Muslims across the globe on Eid al-Adha.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in his message called Eid al-Adha a time to illustrate modest obedience to the Almighty God, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” Eid al-Adha is a time to sacrifice one’s ego and desire and also a time for individuals and groups to move towards the Almighty God.”
 
The cleric noted that Eid al-Adha is a feast for unity based on the Almighty God who is the creator and our guide towards happiness.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari congratulated the occasion to the world monotheists particularly Muslim world.
 
He expressed hope for further solidarity and fraternity among Muslims across the globe.
 
Eid al-Adha or Feast of Sacrifice on tenth of Dhul-Hijjah, marks the final day of Hajj pilgrimage when Muslims complete rituals for the annual pilgrimage.
