Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari noted, in his message issued on Monday, called the terrorist attack a clear violation of Muslims’ right amid inaction of the other countries that aims to promote Islamophobia and insecure holy sites, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The statement comes after the death toll of the recent terrorist attack against the holy shrine of Shah Cheragh in Iran’s southern city of Shiraz has risen to two. That is while a number of others have been wounded.
The cleric said,” Although history has once again proved the double standards of the claimants of human rights and their accomplices in turning a blind eye to the terror of the Muslims, here we demand the Islamic organizations and the right-seeking people in the world to condemn the heinous acts.”
Top cleric demanded the security and judiciary organizations in the Islamic countries to investigate, arrest and punish the perpetrators of such inhumane acts.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari once again slammed the recent terror attack in the city of Shiraz and offered condolences to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei and the Iranian nation, particularly the bereaved people in Shiraz.
The Shah Cheragh shrine in Shiraz was the scene of a similar attack by armed terrorists last October where 15 people, including women and children, were killed.
