Iran’s Qalibaf calls for a decisive position of Islamic countries against desecration of Holy Quran

Qalibaf said in a joint press conference with his Algerian counterpart on Monday: "It was decided to have these exhibitions permanently in Algeria, based on the shipping lines between the two countries and cooperation in the field of knowledge."

He added: The development of parliamentary relations and friendly groups can help the development of economic and political relations.

The Speaker stated: Islamic countries should take a serious position regarding the desecration of the Holy Quran.

Qalibaf pointed out: We must have serious partners at the level of international relations, which is one of the discussions in the field of human rights, which is one of the serious issues.

The Iranian top diplomat considered one of the important issues in bilateral relations to be a serious emphasis on the activation of the joint economic commission between the two countries, which was followed up due to the recent visit of the Algerian president to Iran, and said: In this way, we will seek to develop economic relations as quickly as possible.
After Qalibaf's remarks, the speaker of the Algerian parliament, referring to his presence in Iran at the official invitation of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the aim of emphasizing the common path between the two countries, said: Algeria has common positions with its friend and brother country, the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Referring to the numerous trips and mutual meetings between the two countries at different levels, which take place with the aim of integrating efforts to develop bilateral and regional cooperation, Ibrahim Boughali said: It is hoped that these meetings can provide the basis for the development of cooperation.

He considered one of the goals of this trip to be the development of the level of economic relations and said: increasing the level of economic relations, especially in the field of maritime industry, can help the progress of the two countries. On the other hand, a law has been approved in the Algerian parliament that can facilitate investment between the two countries, and we hope to have good cooperation with Iran in this area, while we believe that good political relations lead to good economic relations.
