Pres. Raisi says Iran seeking relations based on mutual respect, providing benefits with African countries
Referring to the evolution of Iran's relations with African countries after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the President said, "Iran, unlike Western countries that only seek to plunder the resources and wealth of African countries, seeks a relationship based on respect and providing mutual benefits".

The President announced the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to share its knowledge, experiences, achievements and capabilities in the fields of technical-engineering, scientific, technological and industrial services with Senegal.
In this meeting, the President of Senegal, Macky Sall, congratulated Iran's membership in the BRICS and stated, "The presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the BRICS will help to create balance in the international system and the formation of a multipolar world".
Expressing his interest in increasing the presence of Iranian companies and private sector in his country, the President of Senegal stated, "Senegal is interested in using Iran's experiences and expanding cooperation the country in the fields of energy and scientific cooperation".
Emphasising that Western countries, as the main violators of human rights, seek to put pressure on independent countries under the guise of defending human rights, Macky Sall noted, "Countries that have practiced slavery on a large scale for centuries and have dark colonial records, and even today they continue these policies in other ways, have no right to claim to defend human rights".
