The interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran has hailed Iran's membership in BRICS group of growing economies saying this can cause the failure of western unilateralism.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Javad Haj Ali Akbari referred to the achievements of the Iranian government in diplomacy, saying that strengthening relations with neighboring and regional countries and developing strategic relations with Asian and Eastern countries is one of the great steps taken by the government.
 
Top cleric also related on the Arbaeen procession as millions of pilgrims from across the globe have headed for the holy city of Karbala to mark the 40th day after martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS).
 
He said,” Arba’een has become the nightmare of arrogant powers”
 
Referring to the remarks of President Raeisi about the popular nature of the Arba’een pilgrimage, he noted that this spontaneous movement must be preserved.
 
Top cleric appreciated the measures taken to facilitate Arba’een pilgrimage and lauded the coordination in the border towns leading to Arba’een procession.
 
He emphasized that it is necessary to observe peace and dignity on this trip and pay more attention to its spirituality and moral beauty.
