Participants, mostly state workers, students and Palestinians living in Cuba, carried Palestinian flags, chanted "Free Palestine" and called for an end to what they called a "genocide" against the Palestinian people.
This is the first public event in support of Palestinians to take place in Cuba following the start of bombing raids on Gaza by Israel.
Cuban President, Miguel Diaz-Canel, used his X account, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday to condemn Israel, saying: "Cuba condemns in the strongest terms the bombing perpetrated by Israel against the Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza which has caused hundreds of deaths and injuries. We demand an immediate ceasefire and an end to these flagrant violations of international humanitarian law."
