Palestinian doctors call for immediate action to end Israel violence

The statement said the occupying state has committed war crimes and genocidal acts by targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in a manner that cannot be justified by any humanitarian or legal reasoning.
It read: “We call on the international community to take immediate action and strong measures to end this violence and hold those responsible for human rights violations accountable.
We also emphasise on the importance of opening the border crossings to save the lives of those wounded and prevent the spread of diseases among the displaced.”
With regard to the countries that support the occupying state, Palmed said they must also bear significant responsibility for these crimes, as complicity with such actions amounts to direct involvement in human rights violations.
In a related context, Palmed pointed to the ongoing massacres and bombing of the UNRWA schools. “The international community must intensify its efforts to stop these ongoing massacres and to protect innocent Palestinian lives,” the organisation said.
“The continuation of these massacres poses a significant threat to the lives of civilians and intensifies the humanitarian crisis. Supporting countries must effectively act to stop this destruction that is claiming the lives of vulnerable civilians and reassert their commitment to upholding humanitarian values, human rights principles, and international laws in times of war.”
