Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has arrived in the Croatian capital to discuss the Muslim world issues as well as the ways to boost Islamic unity.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, leading a delegation of Iranian religious and cultural figures has traveled to Zagreb as part of his efforts to discuss the Muslims world issues with the elites and religious figures across the Islamic countries, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Top Iranian cleric leading a delegation of religious and cultural figures were welcomed by welcomed by mufti Aziz ef Hasanovic, senior Croatian mufti and Saeed Khatibzadeh, Iran’s ambassador to Croatia and a number of members from the Islamic center of Zagreb.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari has scheduled to meet and discuss the ways to boost Islamic unity with Muslim scholars in Croatia. Visiting the Islamic center of Zagreb as well as the center for Palestinians in Croatia are also on the agenda of the senior Iranian cleric in this trip.
The scholar will also deliver speech at conference entitled “Philosophy in Islam” and participate the commemoration ceremony for Hasan Cengic, former Deputy Defense Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought will also deliver speech at Friday prayer in Zagreb and visit the Interliber Zagreb an international book fair in the Croatian capital.
