Iranian elite women hail role of women in Islamic resistance, Palestine
The Iranian cultural figures and elite women across the country have highlighted the undeniable role played by Palestinian women during over a month of Israeli onslaught against the besieged Gaza Strip.

Prominent Iranian thinkers and activists expressed their views at the webinar entitled “Role of Women in Islamic Resistance and Palestine” held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought on Monday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Soraya Zahabi, activist from Iran’s Oshnavieh County in West Azerbaijan, called the war waged on Gaza a war of the right versus the void and hailed the brave Palestinian women who do not stand silent regarding the Israeli onslaught.
She said to fight against the void is a mission for all men and women.
Roshanak Jafari, also an activist from Sanandaj, Kurdistan province, hailed the Palestinian women in Israeli jails and said those imprisoned because of their defense for al-Aqsa Mosque will not back down from their fight.
She said,” Before any word on oppression of Gazans, we should hail the brevity of the Palestinian women. We have seen several instances that they fought against enemies in the same front their husbands and sons have fought.”
She noted,” History has not seen women as powerful as Palestinian women.”
Fatemeh Ghobadi, activist from Ravansar County in Kermanshah province, noted Palestinian women a certain factor for victory of the resistance during six decades of fight against Israeli regime.
She stated,” The life of a Palestinian women is interwoven with sacrifice as it is only Palestinian women who can explain to their children the path towards freedom, resistance and defending every inch of one’s motherland.”
Leila Husseini, university professor also from Ravansar, hailed the Palestinian women who are popularly known for their sacrifice and creating unique moments of brevity.
She expressed regret over the alarming number of fatalities in the Israeli brutal onslaughts against the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip the majority of whom are women and children.
The Iranian professor also lauded the Palestinian women for their activities in economic, social and educational fields as well as their campaigns to help with those hurt in the Palestinian lands.
Farahnaz Kord Zaboli, an activist from Iran’s southeastern city of Zahedan lauded over six decades of resistance by Palestinian people and the women who fought and resisted Israeli oppression side by side with the Palestinian men.
She said,” Palestinian women is popular for her sacrifice as they do not withdraw from their path despite constant loss of their loved ones.”
According to the Iranian thinker, Israeli regime is once again revealing its anti-human nature in the mass killing of the civilians in Gaza.”
Ai Jamal Ghourchai, manager of seminary in Azadshahr, Golestan province, stressed that solidarity of the Islamic nations and states is the most effective strategy in elimination of Zionism and world arrogant powers.
She underlined the key role of Palestinian women in fight against Zionism and stressed,” Enemies have struggled, throughout history, to undermine the resistance of women and mothers through threats, massacre, infanticide and genocide but they have not made any achievements and will not do so either.”
She noted that the brutal massacre of women and children in Gaza revealed to the world the true power of Palestinian women.
Participants to the online meeting entitled “entitled “Role of Women in Islamic Resistance and Palestine” expressed their views on the efficient and admirable role of Palestinian women during years of resistance against Israeli regime.
