Iran, Indonesia expand academic cooperation, student swap programs
The scientific center of Imam Reza (AS) shrine has signed four MoUs with Indonesian universities to conduct joint researches and exchange students and professors as part of academic cooperation between the two Muslim countries.

Abdul Hamid Talebi from Scientific and Cultural Organization of Imam Reza shrine signed the four MoUs with Indonesian professors in a ceremony held in Sheikh Bahaee Hall on November 19, Taqrib News Agency (TNA) quoted Astan News as saying.
With a population of 277 million people, 87% of whom Muslims, Indonesia stands a key Islamic country in Southeast Asia.
The MoUs include paragraphs on exchanging faculty members and researchers to conduct joint projects, holding seminars and workshops as well as student swaps conducted under scholarship programs.
