Huj. Shahriari meets Lebanese delegation of scholars in Tehran
The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has received a delegation from Lebanon’s Association of Muslim Scholars in the capital Tehran.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in this meeting, related on the regional Islamic Unity Conferences, held by the world forum as complementary sections of the annual event held concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said the regional conference held in Iran’s city of Urmia hosted more than 1,100 guests from Russia, Turkey, Iraq, Georgia and Kurdistan region.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari said the annual conference in Tehran invited ministers, senior muftis and deputies from Yemen, Russia and Jeddah, majority of them hailing the event in a higher level in comparison with previous events.
The cleric admitted the proposal for five Lebanese members from Lebanon’s Association of Muslim Scholars in the next edition of the regional Islamic Unity Conference.
Hissan Abdullah, head of the administrative affairs of the Association of Muslim Scholars referred to the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza and said,” Israeli regime has failed in all intrigues it hatched though the Muslim ummah acted with more tact.
He referred to an upcoming conference to be held in Lebanon regarding the developments in Gaza and invited Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari to attend the meeting.
Head of the Association of the Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Ghazi Hunaina, praised the association for its active role in the path of Islamic unity and resistance.
