Shia, Sunni scholars in Norway discuss latest developments in Gaza
A group of Shia and Sunni clerics based in Norway have condemned the Israeli killing campaign in Gaza and discussed ways to contribute to the Palestinians under Israeli regime for nearly two months now.

Organized by Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Shemshad Rizvi, an emergency meeting of the Shia and Sunni clerics was held at the central Sunni mosque in Norway as participants discuss the different aspects of more than seven decades of Israeli occupation of the Palestinian lands and the plight of the Palestinians, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Participants introduced the organizations and ways to contribute for the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The participants provided a report on the ongoing situation in Gaza and another report on the humanitarian organizations raising funds for Gazans. They also stressed necessity of informing the Norwegian people and government on the plight of the Palestinians under Israeli strikes and also inviting the journalists to hold press conferences in a bid to inform the crimes committed by the Israeli regime.
It is noteworthy that Tawhid institute of Shia Muslims has so far donated more than 80,000 Norwegian Kroner via renowned organizations for the Palestinians and the fundraising continues amid the ongoing Israeli atrocities.
People in Norway have held several rallies to voice solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza Strip and condemned the US-backed Israeli genocide of the civilians killed that began on October 7.
Israeli regime has begun its killing campaign on the Palestinians following an unprecedented attack by Hamas resistance targeting the occupied lands killing 1,400 Israeli people.
According to Gaza Health Ministry nearly 16,000 Palestinians, most of them children and women, have also lost their lives as a result of incessant Israeli atrocities against Gaza Strip.
