Iranian cleric to explain legal context of Qur’an in Qom conference
The director of the institute at Contemporary Fiq’h Research Center has scheduled to review the “Historical Criticism and Its Impacts on the Legal Context of the Qur’an” at conference to be held in Iran’s holy city of Qom.

Mohammad Reza Peysepar, will address the English-speaking audiences at the upcoming event which is to be held in presence and via video link on Thursday December 14, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The International Department at Contemporary Fiq’h Research Center will be hosting the conference entitled “Historical Criticism and Its Impacts on the Legal Context of the Qur’an” at 10:00 AM Tehran Time (6:00 GMT).
The meeting is held on the occasion of National Week of Research and Technology which is marked on 10-16 December 2023.
The latest speech by Mohammad Reza Peysepar, Iranian researcher and university professor, was on ‘A Critical Examination of Historical-Critical Methods in Qur’an Studies’ given at Al-Mustafa International University in the holy city of Qom last week.
