“Inaction will embolden Israeli regime to attack other countries”, Iranian cleric

The Friday prayer leader of Sunni community in Sijeval city in Iran’s northern province of Golestan warned if Israel is not contained in Palestine today, Israeli regime will be emboldened to attack other Muslim states.

 Akhoond yousef Iri, speaking at the ninth webinar on al-Aqsa Flood, entitled “Palestine, Axis of Muslim World Unity” said if Muslims do not assist Palestinians, the same oppression and crimes will occur in other Islamic countries or Zionists will dare to think of other evils against Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The prayer leader of Sijeval stressed the responsibility of all Muslims regarding the oppression, crimes and infanticide unfolding in the Gaza Strip.
 
He quoted the late founder of Islamic Revolution and the Leader of Islamic Republic warning of the issue of Palestine as number one concern in the world of Islam.
 
The cleric reiterated the responsibility of all Muslims to assist their brothers and sisters in any part of the world when harassed or oppressed by enemies.
 
Akhoond Iri called on the Muslims to boost their solidarity and warned,” If we do not assist Palestinians today, same oppression will be imposed on other countries in Muslim world.”
 
The senior cleric made the comments at the 9th edition of the online meetings with the theme of al-Aqsa Flood held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought held on Wednesday.
