Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, the Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, has issued a message to offer condolences over the martyrdom of the Iranian military advisor in Zeinabia neighborhood in Damascus, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The scholar noted the recent missile attack by Israeli regime targeting the capital of Syria and assassination of Iranian military advisor, Seyyed Razi Mousavi, a blatant aggression against the Muslim territories in line with expanding war to other Islamic countries.

Top cleric condemned the Israeli regime over its illegal control of the occupied lands and said,” The regime, backed by the colonial powers like the US, UK and other countries, carries out acts of terror in any part of the world” adding that massacre of more than 20,000 oppressed Palestinians is an undeniable proof for its tyranny and brutality.

“Undoubtedly, the numerous struggles by the martyred commander in fight against Daesh terrorist group and prevalence of peace and security in the region will remain an admirable legacy” said Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari and vowed that the assassination of the top military advisor will lead to further growth of those fighting in path of God Almighty.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari extended his condolences to the bereaved family of martyr Seyyed Razi Mousavi, Leader of the Islamic Republic and Iranian nation.

The senior IRGC commander, Seyyed Razi Mousavi, was martyred by the Israeli regime on Monday while on an advisory mission in Damascus.

Mousavi was one of the companions of Iran's top anti-terror commander, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, who was assassinated by the US in Iraq four years ago.
