Mamusta Mollah Mohammad Sheikhi, prayer leader of the Sunni community in Salas-e Babajani County, in Kermanshah province, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) condemned the US-UK attack on Yemen calling that a pretext for Washington and its allies to attack the country that is standing against arrogant powers.
He stressed,” Attacks on Yemen do not undermine the morale of the resistance front in confrontation with Israeli regime” adding that the Anglo-American strikes on Yemen are in fact conducted in support of the Israeli regime.”
Still in another part of his comments, the Friday prayer leader of Salas-e Babajani criticized the Islamic countries for ignoring Israeli atrocities against Palestinians and said,” We should admit that Gaza sufferings are mainly due to the ignorance of the Muslim world.”
He added,” If Muslims unite then no power can stand against them but regrettably what we see today is that many Islamic countries are pursuing their own affairs and do not care about the ongoing genocide in Gaza.”
The Iranian Sunni scholar noted that the 1.8 billion population of Muslims should not be isolated in front of the minority Zionists.
Mamusta Molla Mohammad Sheikhi concluded that if Muslims do not join in a united front, then the war would overflow to other parts of the Muslim world.
