The committee stressed the need for Israel to implement temporary binding measures to prevent further harm to the Palestinian civilians.
It called on the UN Security Council to ensure the implementation of the Court’s ruling, including General Assembly and Security Council resolutions where an immediate ceasefire is required.
The committee further renewed its long-term calls to find a just and peaceful solution to the Palestinian cause under international law and relevant UN resolutions related to the Palestinian issue in establishing the independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital on the 1967 borders.
