Hamas hails al-Azhar stance on Gaza war

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has hailed the stance of al-Azhar grand mufti, Sheikh Ahmad al-Tayyeb in support of the Palestinians in Gaza Strip.

Hamas resistance, in its statement, lauded the stance of Sheikh Ahmad al-Tayyeb supporting the resistance of Palestinian people against Israeli terrorism, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Hamas called on the Islamic nation and all institutions namely al-Azhar to establish an Islamic front and endeavor for ending Israel’s genocidal war, entry of the humanitarian aids and helping the Palestinian nation in any possible way.
 
Sheikh Ahmad al-Tayyeb, in a television program broadcasted during Ramadan, praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian nation despite Israeli bloodshed in Gaza Strip.
 
He had stressed that Israeli regime failed in its genocidal war against Palestinians and the objective of Palestine will win since the Palestinian nation is persevering in not leaving its homeland.
 
Al-Azhar leader said,” Despite the crimes Israeli forces committed against Palestinians, the regime has not achieved any of its objectives in Gaza” and added,” Israel intends to occupy Gaza and then target the Sinai to materialize its illusion of the Great Israel, which will never come to reality.”
 
That, as the people in Gaza reject leaving their homeland despite the genocidal war, starvation and the devastating situation in the besieged strip.
