The cultural organization at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Iran and University of Tokyo are set to sign a memorandum of understanding to boost cooperation.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Sayyed Jalal Hosseini, the head of the Organization of Libraries, Museums and Document Center of the holy shrine, said the MoU on bilateral cooperation will be signed between the Iranian organization and Tokyo’s Library of Asian Studies, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hosseini said: “A number of Japanese scientists including head of the Library of Asian Studies at University of Tokyo are going to pay a visit to Imam Reza shrine’s Organization of Libraries, Museums, and Document Center.”
The visiting delegation is expected to visit the Central Library of the holy shrine and its Center for Manuscripts, Central Museum, Quran Museum, Shah Mosque and Anthropology Museum, and some other historical sites in the northeastern city of Mashhad.
Two prominent Islamic and Shia scholars, professor Morimoto and Dr. Nishiyama are members of the Japanese delegation.
