Naming of Intl. Quds Day globalized issue of Palestine
Chairman of the Committee of Palestine in Iran hailed the late Imam Khomeini (RA) for naming of the International Quds Day that expanded the issue of Palestine from an Islamic-Arabic concern to a global issue.

Ayatollah Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, in his speech at the international conference with the topic International Al-Quds Day said the upcoming International al-Quds Day will be held in a new ambiance after the operation al-Aqsa Storm, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He hailed the massive operation by Hamas for the honor it brought to the world of Islam.
The senior cleric referred to the global supports for Israel and said,” The developments in the occupied Palestine have been in a way that rather than one country, all countries vote against the regime at the UN Security Council.”
He highlighted the anti-Israel movements established in the European and American parliaments or among the people in these countries.
He added,” The naming of a day by late Imam Khomeini (RA) as the International Quds Day has turned the issue of Palestine from an Islamic-Arabic issue to a global demand.”
As an inspiration by the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khomeini (RA), the last Friday in the fasting month of Ramadan is named the International Quds Day. Millions of people across the globe mark the day to call for an end to Israeli occupation of the Palestinian lands and liberation of al-Aqsa.
