Iran envoy says Tehran stands by the Lebanese people
Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ghadanfar Roknabadi said "We in the Islamic Republic of Iran, follow the approach of our beloved [Imam]Khomeini and , Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei and President Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadi Nejad to stand by the Lebanese people and its government supporters and resistance to its right to recover all its occupied land in the face of temptation and intrigue woven by the Zionist enemy against Lebanon and its resistance".

Pointing out "that what is provided by the Islamic Republic of Iran to the resistant honorable people is the duty imposed by the values of the Islamic revolution and the ties of brotherhood and historic friendship between the Lebanese and Iranian peoples".

The speech of ambassador Roknabadi came during the ceremony organized by the hospital of "The martyr Sheikh Ragheb Harb" in Nabatieh, about 65 km from Beirut)

The President of Iranian Red Crescent Society, Dr Abu Hassan Fakih, also delivered a speech expressed his pleasure in Lebanon and in this region.
