Israeli regime to be punished over consulate building attack

The Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, said an attack on Iranian consulate stands for a strike on our soil stressing that the Israeli regime will be punished for the terrorist attack on Damascus consulate building.

The Leader made the remarks in his Eid al-Fitr sermon delivered on Wednesday morning after the Eid prayer performed in Imam Khomeini (RA) Great Musalla in the capital Tehran, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The Leader said that the bloodletting in Gaza brought a bitter month of Ramadan for Muslims across the globe.
 
Ayatollah Khamenei deplored the viciousness of the western civilization during more than six months of Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip.
 
The Leader said,” Western governments, incapable of beating the resistance fighters, killed more than 33,000 innocent children and innocent people.”
 
Ayatollah Khamenei condemned the western governments for years of supporting Israeli regime and said,” The western countries should have prevented the crimes by Israeli regime but they did not fulfill their responsibility.”
 
The Leader added,” Some western countries, namely the US and UK, only talked in support of the Palestinians while in practice, they not only failed short to prevent the Israeli massacre but also sent aids for the regime.”
 
 
 
Ayatollah Khamenei also referred to a last week terrorist attack against the consulate section of Iranian embassy in Damascus calling that a mistake added to the previous mistakes made by the Israeli regime.
 
The Leader continued,” Israeli regime made a mistake therefore it must be, and will be, punished.”
 
Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in an address to thousands of people attending the Eid al-Fitr prayer held in the capital Tehran.
