Iranian cultural figure offers condolences over passing of prominent Sunni scholar
Mohsen Meschi, deputy of Iran affairs at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a message to extend condolences over the passing of the prominent Sunni scholar, Mamusta Molla Ahmad Fakhri, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He hailed the late Mamusta Fakhri as a committed scholar and a flag bearer of Islamic unity in Javanrud, in Iran’s Kermanshah province.
 
Mohsen Meschi also lauded the late scholar for long years of serving as a Friday prayer leader, managing and teaching at seminaries.
 
He expressed sympathy with the bereaved family of the late scholar.
 
Mamusta Molla Mohammad Fakhri passed away on Wednesday aged 91. He retired from his position as the Friday prayer leader of Javanrud in 2023.
