“Palestine issue concerns those committed to humanity”
A prominent group of Iraqi Muslim scholars has stressed the issue of Palestine as a concern for anyone committed to victory of humanity.

Al-Rebat Mohammadi Scholars’ Council in Iraq, has made the comment in a statement issued to announce the second international Islamic unity conference to be hosted in the capital Baghdad, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
It called the issue of Palestine as an objective for all devoted people who do not admit oppression and would not back down from defending the rights of Palestinian people on their ancestral land.
The statement added that the world of Islam has been vocal on Palestine issue since the beginning of Israeli occupation and has constantly warned the Israeli regime to end oppression, murder and displacement of the Palestinian civilians.
Baghdad international conference on Islamic unity will be held on Wednesday May 8 with Muslim scholars and elites from the Islamic Republic of Iran, Afghanistan, Bosnia, Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Kuwait in attendance.
The participants will deliver speech on four themes: Al-Aqsa Flood, issue of Palestine in Mohammadan school, issue of Palestine and the international community and also the issue of Palestine from an Iraqi view.
