“Anti-Zionism does not translate to anti-Semitism”, Bosnian cleric
A prominent Bosnian Muslim scholar referred to the ongoing global protests against the Israeli regime amid its genocidal war against the besieged Gaza stressing that anti-Zionism does not translate to anti-Semitism.

Mustafa Sibric, speaking at the second International Islamic Unity Conference held in the Iraqi capital Baghdad noted that human rights is only interpreted in the interests of the world powers and does not have anything to do with being free in one’s ancestral land, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He condemned the US veto of the ceasefire resolutions at the UN Security Council as a crime against humanity and said,” The crimes by Israeli regime in Gaza are unparalleled in the entire history of man.”
The Bosnian scholar quoted holy Qur’an saying that he who kills one man has in fact killed the entire human beings and he who saves one is as if saved all people.
He added,” peace will prevail only when the infanticide Israeli regime is annihilated and the Palestinian nation lives a free life in its ancestral land.”
Mustafa Sibric lauded the freedom seeking people across the globe who raised their voice in condemnation of Israeli genocidal war in Gaza Strip.
He made the comments at the second International Islamic unity conference organized by Iraq’s al-Rebat al-Mohammadi Scholars’ Council, held in the capital Baghdad on Wednesday.
A number of Shia and Sunni scholars attended the second international Islamic unity conference entitled “Al-Aqsa Flood, Issues and Identity” to express their take on the issue of Palestine and Operation Al-Aqsa Flood conducted on October 7.
