Israeli forces intensify air, artillery strikes across Gaza, death toll close to 35,000
Scores of Palestinian civilians have been killed and injured as the regime forces continue strikes across the besieged Gaza Strip.

A Palestinian journalist together with his family has been killed as a result of Israeli shelling against Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip where al-Qasasib neighborhood has been recently raided.
In the central part of the Gaza Strip, at least 10 people were killed, including children, and others were wounded by Israeli shelling on a house belonging to the Al-Khatib family, east of the town of Al-Zawaida.
Moving to the southern part of the besieged territory, Israeli fighter jets lunched intense artillery shelling, causing multiple causalities among civilians in different parts of Rafah. Israeli warplanes also launched a raid on. Al-Geneina neighborhood, east of Rafah.
On Friday, the occupation warplanes bombed al-Salam neighborhood and the vicinity of the Rafah crossing.
Israeli tanks sealed off Rafah from the south and complete the encirclement of the “red zone”, where Israel’s military has ordered 100,000 displaced Palestinian residents to evacuate as the Israeli war cabinet authorized an expansion of strikes in the southern city.
For the fifth consecutive day, the Israeli army continues to close the commercial crossing of Karm Abu Salem, and the Rafah crossing on the border between the Strip and Egypt remains closed for the fourth day after it was taken over on Tuesday.
That as the World Health Organization (WHO) issued a warning on Friday that the healthcare system in the Gaza Strip would completely collapse if the fuel flow is halted due to the closure of the Rafah and Karm Abu Salem crossings.
WHO spokesperson Margaret Harris made the remarks during the weekly press conference of the United Nations office in Geneva, regarding the dire situation in the besieged Gaza Strip, which is currently facing a destructive Israeli war.
The number of Palestinians killed as a result of Israeli genocidal war on the besieged Strip since October 7 is close to 35,000 with nearly 78,600 more injured.
