Western support for Israeli crimes foiling claims of humanity, justice

The custodian of Imam Reza (AS) shrine has condemned the western countries and the so-called human rights advocates for their dual stance regarding the issue of Palestine.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Ahmad Marvi, speaking at the opening ceremony of the 5th International Imam Reza (AS) Congress held in the Iranian city of Mashhad said the trail of injustice and discrimination by oppressors, colonial powers and neo-colonial countries has revealed their hypocrisy to the world countries, Taqrib News Agency (TNA) has reported Astan News as saying.
 
He said,” The all-out support by the western governments for the genocidal war by Israeli regime against Gaza Strip, particularly the developments in recent months, is clear evidence that all their claims regarding advocacy of justice and freedom are in in vain.”
 
Still in another part of his speech, the senior Iranian cleric hailed as “victorious” Iran’s retaliatory attack known as Operation True Promise against Israeli positions in the occupied lands calling that the victory of humanity and justice over oppression and darkness.
 
The cleric also lauded the 5th International Imam Reza Congress as an opportunity for dialogue on global justice.
 
Hundreds of religious figures and representatives of Abrahamic religions attended the 5th International Imam Reza Congress entitled “Justice in Civilized Thought of Imam Reza (AS)”.
 
The International Congress of Imam Reza (AS) is annually held concurrent with the birth anniversary of the eighth Shia Imam with prominent religious figures from across the globe in attendance.
