Reactions pour in over passing of Iran’s president Raeisi, companions
Reactions are pouring in after Iran’s President Sayyed Ebrahim Raeisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and the companions were pronounced dead following a helicopter crash and long hours of overnight search operation in northeast Iran.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the country will observe one day of mourning and it's flag will fly at half-mast following the martyrdom of President Raeisi and his companions who lost their lives in a helicopter crash in Iran.
Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov said the Iranian president and Foreign Minister gave their lives in selfless service to the motherland. Russian embassy in Iran has issued a message to express sympathy with Iran and has flown its flag at half-mast in an expression of solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Moscow deployed rescue teams in the early hours after the incident.
Belarussian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a message calling as “irreparable loss” the death of Iran’s President and companions in the helicopter crash. It said,” Thrue friends of Belarus have passed away. Our sincere condolences to the relatives and friend of the deceased, and we ask for patience and courage for all the people of Iran.”
