President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the Embassy of Iran in Azerbaijan, and offered his condolences over the deaths of the Iranian President and other individuals in a helicopter crash.

The chopper carrying the Iranian president and his companions, including the Iranian Minister Of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, crashed on Sunday while returning from a mission in which the Iranian president and his counterpart from the Azerbaijan Republic, inaugurated a dam on the Aras River along the common border of the two neighboring countries.
