Funeral procession of pilots martyred in Iran’s helicopter crash held

The crew members of the helicopter carrying Iran’s President Ebrahim Raeisi and delegation of officials that crashed in northwest Iran have been buried on Thursday.

Thousands of people attended a funeral procession held in Zanjan where the helicopter technician Behrouz Ghadimi was laid to rest, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The body of co-pilot Mohsen Daryanush, the crew of the helicopter was also laid to rest at in Isfahan and pilot Seyed Taher Mostafavi was buried in Behesht-e Zahra cemetery in Tehran.
 
A day earlier the Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, prayed over the bodies of martyrs of the helicopter crash in Tehran University.
 
Millions of people from across Iran attended the funeral procession held in the Iranian capital before the bodies were sent to their hometowns for burial.
