Jordan condemns Israeli settlers’ defiling of al-Aqsa Mosque
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has strongly condemned the Israeli settlers for storming al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriates, Sufyan Oudah warned against the ongoing provocations by Israeli settlers of the holy compound as a flagrant violation of the international law.
He stressed that the holy compound is a solely Islamic worshipping place and that the Israeli regime has no sovereignty over the occupied East Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian holy sites.
Sufyan Oudah noted that the Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque Department as the only body with exclusive jurisdiction to manage the compound and supervise the entry to the holy site.
Jordanian spokesman called on Israeli regime to cease all practices and violations against the al-Aqsa Mosque and to respect its sanctity.
