Iran's Acting FM, Iraqi Kuridstan Officials Stress Good Neighborly Relations
During his meetings in Erbil, Bagheri Kani discussed issues of mutual interest with the Iraqi Kurdistan Region's President and prime Minister.

In a joint press conference with Masrour Barzani, Ali Bagheri Kani emphasized that the enemies do not want to see the stability and peace in Iran, Iraq and the region, and emphasized: "We will not allow any side to damage our friendly relations with the Iraqi's Kurdistan region."
Before this, Ali Bagheri Keni had also met and consulted with Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and Masoud Barzani, the head of the Democratic Party of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
During a meeting in Erbil, Bagheri Kani discussed issues of mutual interest with the Kurdistan Region’s Prime Minister Masrour Barzani.
In a joint press conference, Masrour Barzani said the talks touched on improving bilateral economic ties and supporting regional political stability.
"We addressed security challenges in the area and agreed that regional stability benefits both sides and all neighboring countries," Prime Minister Barzani said.
Bagheri emphasized the deep-rooted, historical, religious, and cultural ties between Iran and the Kurdistan Region, noting a "shared future" between both nations.
"Our relation with the Kurdistan Region is fraternal and deeply rooted. We share a common destiny," Bagheri said.
Bagheri Kani arrived in Baghdad on Thursday morning on a two-day trip.
He met with top Iraqi officials, including President Abdul Latif Rashid, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein among others.
