Leader calls on students to contribute to upcoming presidential elections

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has received a group of talented Iranian students and winners of international scientific Olympiads urging them for contributing to the upcoming presidential elections in the country.

The Leader also highlighted importance of the presidential elections in the country calling on the students to endeavor for utmost turnout of the people in the upcoming elections, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with a number of winners of international Olympiads and hailed the advancement made in the field of science around the year 2000, with the global surveys predicting a huge scientific step for Iran, several times bigger than the world average.
 
The Leader said,”: I have time and again stressed that the pace of making advancements is good but the key point is that the advancement itself happens.”
 
Ayatollah Khamenei urged for more efforts to make up for the lag in the field of science and lauded the total of 30 international medals achieved by the students in the past two years in comparison with those won in 2018- 2021.
