Eid al-Adha, marks a major Islamic occasion also known as the Feast of the Sacrifice.
Local sources reported that several people sustained injuries of varying severity after Israeli fighter jets targeted a house in Rafah and another house in Al-Shati refugee camp, located west of Gaza City.
The Israeli military also detonated several residential buildings in the town of Al-Mughraqa in central Gaza. The Palestinian health ministry said on Saturday that the Israeli occupation army committed three massacres killing 30 civilians and injuring 95 others across the Gaza Strip in a matter of 24 hours.
The total number of Palestinians killed since Israel began its genocidal war on the besieged Gaza on October 7 has topped 37,296 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 85,197, most of them women and children.
Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.
