Defenders of shrine saved Iran, entire region from terrorists

The Leader made the remarks in a meeting with a group of resistance fighters, also known as defenders of shrine, held on Saturday morning, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the brutal and inhumane nature of the Daesh terrorists and their allied groups established and supported by the United States and western countries and said,” The objective in launching these groups was to destabilize the region and Iran but the defenders of the shrine foiled the big threat.”

The Leader noted that the enemy intended to seize the region and simultaneously impose economic, political and ideological pressures to Iran in order to undermine the Islamic system when a group of pious youths, led by the Islamic Republic of Iran, foiled the arrogant powers’ plot.

Ayatollah Khamenei said,” The mobilization of the youths, who have not seen the holy defense era, but rise to defend the holy shrines, displays the unprecedented power of the Islamic revolution.”

The Leader referred to the pro-west ideologies of those who believe that the Islamic Revolution and its objectives are dimming and stressed,” Bravery, devotion, sincerity and true belief in religious principles in the defenders of shrine reveals the unprecedented phenomena that proved as baseless the pro-west analysis.”

Ayatollah Khamenei also hailed the Islamic revolution anniversary rallies, massive funeral processions, like that of Martyr Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and the martyrs of service, as the instances through which the Islamic revolution was replicated.

The Leader underlined that the victory of the Islamic revolution is owed to these martyrs and their families and said,” The defenders of shrine and their families are honors and a means for victory of Iran.”

Ayatollah Khamenei also praised the called the pro-Palestine protest across US universities as an example for pure conscience of the people across the globe.
