The OIC says it views the crime as a flagrant violation of the international humanitarian laws and the Geneva Conventions.
The international Islamic body also urged for an independent investigation into the crimes and that the perpetrators be held accountable for the deadly attack on the UNRWA school that sheltered hundreds of displaced Palestinians.
OIC urged the international community to assume its responsibilities towards ending the Israeli atrocities against civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
At least 16 Palestinians have been killed and dozens of others wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting an UNRWA school in Gaza’s Nuseirat refugee camp.
With the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza in its tenth month now, the total number of Palestinians killed as a result of the regime’s atrocities since October 7 nears 38,100.
More than 87,700 Palestinians have also been injured and thousands of others remain unaccounted for, presumed to be dead under the rubble.
