4-year-old Palestinian child in Gaza dies of malnutrition

A four-year-old Palestinian girl has died of malnutrition and lack of medical care as the Israeli regime keeps the crossings into Gaza Strip closed amid its killing campaign in the besieged Strip.

Family sources affirmed that the little girl died due to malnutrition at Shuhada Aqsa Hospital as a result of the ongoing war and blockade.

“The little girl was living in a tent that lacked the most basic necessities of life, amid high temperatures and difficult health conditions,” her uncle said.

“Lina needed special healthy food such as fruits and natural juices, some vitamins, and medicines that were not available due to the war,” he added.

Lina’s death has brought the total number of victims of malnutrition in the Gaza Strip to 37, including children.

Rights organizations and international bodies have condemned the Israel for using starvation to put further pressure on Palestinians in Gaza amid the regime’s relentless bombing of the besieged Gaza Strip.
