Iran, Saudi Arabia call for stress urgency of end to Gaza war, delivery of humanitarian aids

Iran and Saudi foreign ministers have emphasized the urgency for an end to Israeli crimes against Palestinians in Gaza and delivery of humanitarian aid to the besieged strip.

In a phone conversation on Sunday, Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his newly appointed counterpart Abbas Araqchi discussed the latest developments in Gaza amid the continuation of the Israeli regime’s crimes in the Strip and the intensification of tensions in the region.
 
The top Iranian and Saudi diplomats also said that mutual relations are on the right track and discussed ways to further enhance them in various fields.
 
Araqchi and bin Farhan highlighted the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between the two countries which will be beneficial to Tehran and Riyadh and the entire region.
 
In a post on his X account on Sunday, Araqchi said moving towards a "strong and united region" through dialogue, cooperation, synergy and empathy with regional countries is among the priorities of Iran’s foreign policy.
