The Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) and the Authority of the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners disclosed that the detentions took place in Nablus, Qalqilya, Hebron, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem.
PPS and the Commission affirmed that the occupation continues to primarily target former prisoners, as the occupation re-detained the former prisoner Hassan Al-Safadi from Nablus, who was released on July 30, after spending 9 months in administrative detention.
The statement explained that ongoing Israeli incursions involve widespread raids, severe beatings, threats against detainees and their families, as well as instances of property destruction and sabotage in civilian homes.
According to the statement, since October 7th, the number of Palestinians detained by Israeli troops has exceeded 9,550, including those taken from their homes, at military checkpoints, individuals who surrendered under pressure, and those held as hostages.
